Jan. 7, 2020 - Join the City of Hampton and a professional design team, including experts from flood-prone New Orleans, to discuss pilot projects designed to improve Hampton’s water resilience. Our innovative pilot projects are intended to manage water and improve the quality of life. They focus primarily on the Newmarket Creek water plan. The Jan. 14 meeting will be a gallery-style open house from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in which residents can drop by, view the plans and ask questions. It will be held in room 106 of the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive. Learn more about Resilient Hampton at hampton.gov/ResilientHampton.
