Library Book

June 26, 2020 - Hampton’s main and branch libraries will re-open July 1, with some new policies, procedures and hours:

  • All patrons over 10 years old MUST wear a mask (unless there is a medical reason) in order to come into the library.
  • Patrons will be able to come in and use the library and services for one hour per day.
  • Patrons who wish to use the Special Collections Room will have to call to make an appointment.
  • The library’s new hours will be 10 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

All branches will be closed July 3 and 4 for the holiday and will reopen on Monday,  July 6.

The library will continue its curbside service Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. only.  Patrons will need to call the library when they’re notified of their holds if they wish to schedule curbside service.
