[ARCHIVED] City offers new healthcare provider, Optima, during open enrollment Nov. 2-13

As the city prepares to launch the 2021 Benefits Open Enrollment season, Nov. 2 through Nov. 13, we are pleased to announce that Optima Health will be our new healthcare provider effective Jan. 1, 2021. 

Employees can go to the Benefits page for enrollment forms and more details, including the city manager's memo, a health benefits overview, and an FAQ document. 

To help prepare employees for the transition, the Benefits Department and Optima Health are offering two in-person sessions in Council Chambers at City Hall: Thursday, Nov. 5, at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 10, at noon. Because of coronavirus precautions, the sessions are limited to 50 people.

The live online webinars offered are:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 4, noon-1 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 5, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 6, 11 a.m.-noon
  • Monday, Nov. 9, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 10, noon-1 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 12, 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
