[ARCHIVED] Armistead Pointe Tree Planting, November 7, 9am - Noon

Volunteers are needed to plant trees and shrubs in around the stormwater pond at Armistead Pointe, near the Boo Williams Sportsplex.

Participants will be digging holes, lifting trees and shrubs, and covering the tree roots with soil, mulching, and then watering the newly planted trees.

Volunteers under age 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers need to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy and clothing suitable to the weather. Bring water. Restrooms will be available. Some contact with animals possible.
