[ARCHIVED] City continues regular schedule of disinfecting city buildings to help stop spread of COVID-19

Jan. 12, 2021 -  Hampton maintains a regular schedule for "fogging" or spraying city facilities with a disinfectant in order to reduce the possible spread of the coronavirus. The fogging includes wiping down most common areas and then spraying a disinfectant. The schedule includes:

  • Wednesday: Healthy Families Partnership Building, 100 Old Hampton Lane.
  • Thursday: City Hall, 22 Lincoln St.
  • Friday: Hampton City Schools administration offices, the Ruppert Sargent Building at 1 Franklin St., and the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority offices at 1 South Armistead Ave.
  • Saturday: All public libraries and court buildings.

The city also requires that all employees and the public wear masks inside the buildings.
