Valentine’s Day will be over, but you’ll still feel the love with this duo! The Lovebirds are Amy Celeste Young-Beard and Jason W. McKinzie, and they have an hour of original music to charm their way into your heart. Raised on the music of Peter, Paul & Mary, The Beatles, The Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash and more, these versatile multi-instrumentalists conjure a rich tapestry of sound. They couple this with state-of-the-art technology and straightforward, down-to-earth acoustic instrumentation. The result is a fascinating blend of classic sounds that envelope you like a cool fog of comfort and bliss.

Amy and Jason have over twenty years experience in performance and music. They live for their art and always deliver a fun-filled evening. Their own personal love and partnership shine through in the music they deliver. The love songs are born of true love, and these lifetime lovebirds get a special joy from sharing their own personal experiences through the classic songs that have helped shaped the twentieth century.

Amy Celeste Young-Beard swims confidently in a sea of creative bliss. An accomplished and recognized artist of many media, her output is expansive and unlimited by constraints or conventions. Through it all her voice welcomes you as a dear friend, beckoning you to sit with her beside the fire and hear a story or two.

Jason W. McKinzie follows in the tradition of tunesmiths throughout time immemorial, dipping his musical cup gratefully into the river of those who have come before him. Music is the air he breathes. Genres are no obstacle for this performer/composer. Walls are meant for climbing, and the illusory walls of art are no exception.
