Join Dave Lee of Hatton Cross Steampunk, and Mike Parodi of Master Creations Enterprises, Inc., for the return of the creative exposition of "Steampunk: Visons of Futures Past." Experience the work these artists whose contraptions and conveyances conjure up a time when airships were commonplace and steam power ruled the world; an alternative Victorian era and an imagined Wild West frontier.
Master steampunk makers Mike Parodi and Dave Lee bring their imaginations to life with a multitude of steampunk vehicles and props. Motor carriages, roadsters, airships and even tanks will all be on display in the museum. Meet the makers and hear the tall tales ofeach creations purpose.
Joining us after a much-missed absence of several years are our friends from A Steampunked Life, bringing an array of their carefully curated wares, suitable for adventures near and far, or for an elegant evening about town.
Admission to the museum and this special exhibit is free Saturday, June 3, 10 am-5 pm; Sunday, June 4, 1-5 pm, during the Blackbeard Pirate Festival Weekend.
The Hampton History Museum is located at 120 Old Hampton Lane in Downtown Hampton. There is free parking in the garage across the street from the museum. For more information call 757-727-1102.
