preschool graduation

Aug. 18, 2023 — Hampton Healthy Families celebrated 22 families at the 2023 Healthy Start graduation on Thursday, Aug. 10 at the Foxhill Neighborhood Center.

The families have shown dedication to learning and supporting their child’s development through active participation in the Healthy Start Family Support Program for 5 years or more. The staff of Healthy Families wishes the graduates and families continued success as they enter kindergarten.

Mayor Donnie Tuck and Assistant City Manager Steve Bond attended the event.

The Healthy Start program aids parental care giving, developmental stimulation and parent-child interactions by providing role modeling and teaching parent education skills.

Hampton Healthy Families mission is to ensure all children are born healthy, enter kindergarten prepared to succeed, achieve academic success while engaged in the community, and graduate healthy and prepared for a lifetime of success.
