[ARCHIVED] Take part in the virtual Angel Tree and brighten a child's holiday

angel-tree-nf-3

Nov. 17, 2023 — Help brighten up the holiday season for dozens of children this year by signing up for the annual virtual Angel Tree program in Hampton.

As with recent years, our Angel Tree will be email-based for 2023. If you would like to adopt an angel, please send an email to Lynn Butler, Healthy Families support services coordinator, at lbutler@hampton.gov. In the email, answer the following questions:

  1. Do you want to help a boy or girl?
  2. How many Angels do you want?
  3. What age range do you want: infant to age 5, 6 – 12, or teen?

We will send you an email with your Angel information.

Instructions

The date to drop off the unwrapped gifts is Dec. 7 at the Department of Human Services, 1320 LaSalle Ave., next to the YMCA. Please use the Health Department entrance located near the baseball field in the back (there will be a sign pointing to the entrance). Return your email ornament with your gift bag. Please use only one child per bag.

If you would like to help during the wrapping days (Dec. 11-15), email Lynn Butler. We will be wrapping the gifts at the same place as the drop-off. Extra wrapping paper, gift boxes and labels are always needed and appreciated — you can drop them off on Dec. 7 or call us (757-759-3436) and we can pick them up.

Thank you all so much for supporting the Angel Tree every year.
