1. What kind of computers do you have?: The library has IBM compatible PCs with CD-R drives and USB ports.

2. What are the reservation policies?

With a library card:

Free reservations
Up to seven days in advance
One per day
One hour (up to one hour more is possible if available)
15¢ per page for printing

With a guest pass:

Free reservations
Same day only
One per day
Limited to one hour (no additional time possible)
15¢ per page for printing

3. What software programs do the library's computers run?

The computers at the Main Library run the following software:

Microsoft Access 2010
Microsoft Excel 2010
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
Microsoft Publisher 2010
Microsoft Word 2010
Microsoft Accessories: Calculator, Paint, Notepad, and Wordpad

4. Can anybody help me if I have questions about the software?: Limited help is available at all times.

5. Can I save my work on the library's computer?: All work is erased when you log off and when the computers shut down for the day. If you need to save your work, bring a flash drive with you, or buy one from us for $5.00. You can also email your work to yourself and have it available from any computer with Internet access and compatible software programs.

6. Can I run my software program on the library's computer?: Only software programs already loaded on our PCs will run. The hard drives are locked to prevent the accidental spreading of computer viruses or other malicious software.

7. Can I use headphones with the computers?: All public computers accept headphone jacks. Bring your own, or buy earbud-style headphones from us for $1.25 each.
