50 years of TRADOC Celebration

U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command is proudly celebrating “50 Years of TRADOC” at Fort Monroe. This event will feature the U.S. Army Parachute Team, “Golden Knights,” and the U. S. Army TRADOC Band. During the concert the TRADOC Band with perform the every popular 1812 Overture with LIVE cannons!

Camp Hampton

TEEN LIFE UNPLUGGED SUMMER CAMP - Teens will participate in swimming, art and design, crafts, sports, a talent show, and two special field trips to Busch Gardens and Ocean Breeze (additional fees per field trip). SUMMER FUN FULL DAY CAMP - Campers will celebrate weekly themes, enjoy enrichment activities, play, swim, and take field trips to Busch Gardens and Ocean Breeze (additional fees per field trip).

H2O Aerobics

Water aerobics is the performance of aerobic exercise in water such as in a swimming pool. It is done mostly vertically and without swimming typically in waist deep or deeper water. Water aerobics is a form of aerobic exercise that requires water-immersed participants.

Give your child a summer of adventure, excitement, and new experiences. Adventure Camp features a variety of enrichments, visits from experts, special projects, and more!

BIngo

Bingo is a game in which each player has a card with numbers on it. Someone calls out numbers and if you are the first person to have all your numbers called out, you win the game.

Whether you're new to the game or a veteran, come enjoy a friendly game of pinochle at the Hampton Senior Center!

Food Truck Friday

FMCC-Shallow Water Aerobics

Teetotalers and Moonshiners, and Hampton’s Prohibition Story

The exhibit combines content from the Virginia Library’s 2017 exhibit “Teetotalers and Moonshiners: Virginia’s Prohibition Experiment” with research and artifacts from the Hampton History Museum on the local experience. "Hampton's Prohibition Story" features myriad items to tell the story, including dozens of photographs; numerous bottles, jugs and other containers; games, smoking accoutrements, beverage dispenser, signs and materials of saloon culture; service ware, promotional items and memorabilia from Point Comfort resorts, Phoebus police and fire department items, doctor bag and instruments; and moonshine still components on loan from the Museum of the Albemarle. The exhibit continues through February 4, 2024.

Therapeutic Recreation Camp Superstar

Campers will enjoy recreational activities with peers. Participants will have a summer of fun filled with games, creative activities and cooking. This program is designed for individuals with disabilities and requires advance registration and assessment. Participants must be able to use the restroom with minimal support, follow 2 step directions, and have a desire to participate. Therapeutic Recreation programs have a 1:4 staff-to-participant ratio. Registration begins April 8.
